Since PMDFC is a company
established under the Companies Ordinance 1984, it
has a General Body and Board of Directors (BOD) at
the helm of its policy matters. In order to give
maximum representation to the civil society,
majority of the members of General Body and BOD
come from the private sector. From the Punjab
government side; P&D, Finance, LG&CD, Excise,
Public Health & Engineering Departments have
highest level representation on these bodies. In
total, 30 members constitute the general body with
10 members from the government of the Punjab and
20 members coming from the civil society. BOD
consists of 3 members from the Government of the
Punjab, 5 members from the civil society and the
Managing Director of PMDFC.
Management of PMDFC is headed by a Managing
Director, and comprises Institutional Development,
Engineering, Finance & Administration, Environment
& Procurement, and Internal Audit departments.
Since PMDFC is a body corporate so it may seek
financial and technical resources from any
bilateral and multilateral donor organization.
